Searle has the highest market share at $696 million. However, as compared to last year, the number of companies has gone down, with 7 companies that made it to the list previously. Forbes compiles the list by the companies’ profitability and growth, featuring only those which have an annual earning of less than $1 billion. Companies with issues in accounting, management and legal are not included.

A total of almost 18,000 candidates were taken into consideration. The winning list Forbes compiled includes 200 companies which had shown the best earning and growth results during the fiscal year and over a three-year period. However, not everyone can be added to the prestigious list, with those firms excluded that earn less than $5 million.
